The properties detailed above are typical of pyrope (Mg<sub>3</sub>Al<sub>2</sub>Si<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>), almandine (Fe<sup>2+</sup><sub>3</sub>Al<sub>2</sub>Si<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>) and grossular (Ca<sub>3</sub>Al<sub>2</sub>Si<sub>3</sub>O<sub>12</sub>).</p>
